New exhibition at ArtNomadique — three visions, one space

From May 1, ArtNomadique once again opens its doors for a new exhibition in the heart of Ronse.As always, different worlds come together — this time featuring Ivan Scheldeman, Mrac Acrylic Art and DDKing.

Three artists, each following their own path, yet connected by the same drive: to create, to show, and to leave something behind with the viewer.

Ivan Scheldeman — starting from the familiar

Ivan Scheldeman’s work is rooted in everyday life. Not driven by grand statements, but by images that make you pause because they feel familiar.His figurative paintings capture moments you may have experienced yourself, or instantly recognise.

There is a sense of calm in his work, but also a subtle tension. Something beneath the surface that keeps you looking.No excess, no noise — just enough to draw you in.

Mrac Acrylic Art — intuition as a driving force

Where Ivan starts from recognition, Mrac Acrylic Art works entirely from intuition.His process has no fixed plan or predefined outcome. Each piece evolves organically, layer by layer, guided by movement and energy.

This is reflected in the result: strong compositions where colour takes centre stage.Sometimes raw, sometimes playful, but always direct. Work that doesn’t ask to be understood, but to be experienced.

DDKing — between digital and tangible

With DDKing, another dynamic enters the space. His work moves between painting and digital creation, exploring the tension between the two.

In this exhibition, he presents a new painting alongside recent digital work.Two worlds that may seem different at first, but are closely connected in meaning.

His images revolve around vulnerability, identity and inner tension.Not everything is made explicit — and that is exactly the point. The work invites you to feel and interpret for yourself.

An exhibition that keeps evolving

During the vernissage on May 2, all three artists will also bring additional new work.This makes the exhibition a living space — something that continues to evolve rather than remain fixed.

Visitors attending the opening will experience not just the start of the exhibition, but also extra layers that continue to shape the space.
