Montmartre Ronse through the years

Montmartre Ronse has a long history in the heart of the city. On this page, we preserve images from earlier editions as well as from the renewed 2026 edition.

Step by step, this page is growing into a visual archive of Montmartre Ronse.

Montmartre Ronse 2026
A new edition, a new chapter

On 6 September 2026, Montmartre came fully back to life in the historic centre of Ronse.

Thousands of visitors came to watch artists and craftspeople at work, listen to music, discover stories and, above all, enjoy the atmosphere throughout the city.

Our ArtNomadique Gallery also welcomed around 200 visitors that day.

For us, Montmartre was never just about art. It was also about meeting people and creating connections. The many reactions afterwards showed just how strongly that atmosphere was felt.

A tradition brought back to life

Montmartre Ronse is more than a single event. It continues an artistic tradition that brought artists, craftspeople, musicians and visitors together in the historic heart of Ronse for many years.

Thanks to Fabrice Gevaert and Steef Verwée, who shared images from their personal archives with us, we are able to preserve part of that history today.

With the return of Montmartre in 2026, a new chapter was added, with respect for the past and a view towards the future.

🎥 Historic Film Footage

Several film recordings from previous editions have also been preserved.
