On Sunday, 6 September, the historic centre of Ronse will come alive during Montmartre Ronse 2026.
More than 50 artists, craftspeople, students and musicians will bring art, craftsmanship and music directly among the public.
Discover artists creating live, craftspeople demonstrating their skills, young talents from the Flemish Ardennes Art Academy and live music throughout the historic city centre.
ArtNomadique gives Montmartre a new interpretation, with respect for its tradition.
What is Montmartre Ronse?
Montmartre enjoyed its glory days in Ronse during the 1970s and 1980s. Artists worked among the public, music filled the streets and visitors could experience art and craftsmanship up close.
With Montmartre Ronse 2026, ArtNomadique reimagines the event while staying true to its traditions.
Artists will create live, craftspeople will demonstrate their techniques, students from the Flemish Ardennes Art Academy will work in front of the public and musicians will bring music to the historic city centre.
Just as in the past, we encourage artists to wear traditional painters’ clothing or an outfit that reflects their artistic world and personality.
Montmartre is not simply art to look at. It is art to experience.
