About Us
ArtNomadique began as a traveling art initiative, organizing group exhibitions in unique locations across Belgium and abroad. Castles, churches, industrial heritage sites, and cultural centers became the backdrop for encounters between artists, art lovers, and stories.
Today, ArtNomadique is much more. With the opening of the ArtNomadique Gallery in Wijnstraat, Ronse, we have created a permanent home where up to four artists presenting wall-based work and one sculptor or ceramic artist exhibit during each five-week period. The gallery has become the beating heart of our project, while our traveling exhibitions continue to surprise and inspire in distinctive locations.
Our mission remains the same: bringing art closer to people, offering opportunities to artists, and building a community where stories, emotions, and creativity come together.
What We Do
ArtNomadique offers artists a professional platform to present their work in two ways:
1. ArtNomadique Gallery (Wijnstraat 16, Ronse)
Every five weeks, we host a new group exhibition with up to four artists presenting wall-based work, plus one sculptor or ceramic artist.

Duration: five consecutive weeks, with five opening weekends.

Formula A – lower commission: €400 excl. VAT (€484 incl. VAT) + a 15% commission incl. VAT.

Formula B – lower participation fee: €289.26 excl. VAT (€350 incl. VAT) + a 25% commission incl. VAT.

Included with both formulas: professional presentation, vernissage and standard promotion.

Flexibility: after two weekends, part of the selection may be changed in consultation with the gallery.

Optional promo pack: €100 excl. VAT (€121 incl. VAT) for targeted promotion through social media, newsletter, press release and visual content.
Whichever formula you choose, the exhibition period, space, visibility and support remain the same.

2. Traveling Group Exhibitions (external locations)
In addition to our gallery, we also organize group shows in unique and inspiring venues.

Who We Are
Dieter Deconinck
Owner/Founder ArtNomadique
ArtNomadique was founded by Dieter Deconinck (DDKing), artist, curator, and entrepreneur from Ronse. With over 15 years of experience in the arts, he has built a diverse practice in AI art, painting, jewelry design, and visual design. His work has been exhibited internationally and recognized with collaborations involving museums, galleries, and the luxury brand Ethicarat. As the founder, owner, and curator, he develops both the ArtNomadique Gallery and the wider ArtNomadique project into a professional and inspiring platform for contemporary art.
Marc Janssens
Co-Founder ArtNomadique Project
Marc Janssens (Mrac Acrylic Art) is the co-founder of ArtNomadique’s traveling group exhibitions. As an artist, he mainly works with colorful and intuitive acrylics, which have been exhibited internationally. Today he contributes as a freelance advisor, curator, and organizer. He is not part of the company but works independently to strengthen the practical and curatorial aspects of the exhibitions.
Kathy Pauwels
Kathy Pauwels – Spokesperson & Interviewer at ArtNomadique
Kathy Pauwels is a well-established name in Flemish media. She began her career as a radio presenter at Studio Brussel and went on to become one of the most recognized news anchors at VTM, where she presented the evening news for twelve years. She later became the face of the popular television program Royalty, where she reported with depth and empathy on both Belgian and international royal families. With her clear voice, warm personality, and years of experience as an interviewer, Kathy has a natural gift for putting people at ease and uncovering stories that resonate. Today, she brings that same approach to the world of art. Kathy is now the spokesperson for ArtNomadique, where she also leads the interview series Inside Art – with Kathy Pauwels. In this series, she engages in meaningful conversations with artists about their motivations, their vulnerability, and the deeper essence of their work. Her questions are never superficial—they aim straight for the heart of the person behind the art. She also serves as the spokesperson for Galerij Artisjok in Lier, further deepening her connection to the contemporary art scene. Kathy believes that art is a universal language—one that connects, comforts, and challenges us—and she sees it as her mission to make those stories visible and tangible for a wider audience.
