On 5 and 6 December 2026, ArtNomadique will move to a remarkable new location in the heart of Ronse: the former Augustinian Convent on Olifantstraat.

For one weekend, we will bring contemporary art into a building with a unique history and character. From the historic green and red-and-gold salons to the former convent rooms and the hidden chapel, each space has its own atmosphere.

For this group exhibition, we are looking for artists who would like to join us in bringing this exceptional location to life.

Who are we looking for?

The open call is open to a variety of disciplines:

painting
sculpture
ceramics
mixed media
digital art
other forms of contemporary art

We are not looking for one specific style. For ArtNomadique, what matters most is that the work has its own identity and that the selected artists can come together to create a strong and varied exhibition.

All applications are reviewed in advance by ArtNomadique. Submitting an application therefore does not automatically mean that you will be selected.

Practical information

Exhibition: Saturday 5 & Sunday 6 December 2026

Location: Augustinian Convent, Olifantstraat 24, Ronse

Set-up: Friday 4 December between 2 PM and 7 PM

Participation fee: €260 incl. VAT

Commission on sales: 0%

Application deadline: 14 October 2026

You pay one fixed participation fee. Any works sold during the weekend remain entirely for the benefit of the artist.

What do you receive as a participating artist?

You take part in the ArtNomadique group exhibition at the Augustinian Convent for the entire weekend.

ArtNomadique is responsible for the overall organisation, curation and communication surrounding the event. We ensure that the different artists and disciplines come together as one coherent whole, while respecting the character of this exceptional location.

The exact placement and presentation of the works will be determined by ArtNomadique based on the artworks, the available space and the overall concept of the exhibition.

A remarkable location

The former Augustinian Convent is not a traditional exhibition space.

The different salons, corridors and former convent rooms each have their own architecture and atmosphere. That is precisely what makes this location so interesting: art is not simply displayed against a neutral wall, but enters into a dialogue with the building itself.

For ArtNomadique, this is exactly what a group exhibition at a special location is about: bringing art, space and audience together into one experience.
