More than 800 visitors for ArtNomadique at Borluut Castle

What a weekend! On 8 and 9 August 2026, ArtNomadique returned for the second time to the beautiful Borluut Castle in Sint-Denijs-Westrem. And what an edition it was!

Alongside 20 guest artists, we also took part in the exhibition ourselves, DDKing and Mrac Acrylic Art. For two days, the castle was entirely dedicated to art, encounters and discovery.

More than 800 visitors

More than 800 visitors made their way to Borluut Castle over the weekend. A result that makes us particularly proud as organisers.

But numbers only tell part of the story. What we will remember most are the many conversations, the encounters between visitors and artists, the new connections that were made and the wonderfully warm atmosphere throughout the castle during the entire weekend.

For several artworks, the weekend also marked the beginning of a new chapter: they found a new home at Borluut Castle. For an artist, there is always something special about seeing a work connect with someone so deeply that they want to give it a place in their home.

That is ultimately what ArtNomadique is all about: bringing artists and the public closer together, making art accessible and creating space for meaningful encounters.

Neelke Lelubre wins the Jury Prize

One of the special moments of this edition was the presentation of the Jury Prize. At ArtNomadique, the jury consisted of the artists themselves: every participating artist had the opportunity to vote for the work of their fellow artists.

The Borluut Castle 2026 Jury Prize went to Neelke Lelubre, who received the most votes.

Studio X10 achieved a wonderful second place, while Art by Margo completed the podium with a well-deserved third place.

Art connects

Beyond the exhibition and the Jury Prize, this weekend was above all about meeting people. Existing connections grew stronger, new ones were made, and the artists had the opportunity to discover and appreciate each other’s work.

And perhaps that is the most beautiful part of a weekend like this. ArtNomadique wants to be more than simply a place where artworks hang on walls. We want to create an environment where artists and art lovers can meet, share their stories, inspire one another and build new connections.
