ArtNomadique Turns 1: A Milestone Worth Celebrating

On December 3rd, ArtNomadique officially turns one year old.

A year that passed quickly, yet feels as if we’ve been part of the cultural scene of Ronse and beyond for much longer.

What began as an ambitious idea — a travelling project aimed at bringing art closer to people — has grown into a place where visitors feel at home, where artists gain visibility, and where stories become tangible in every corner of our gallery.

A Year of Movement, Growth, and Connection

Looking back at our first year, we are proud of everything we’ve accomplished together.Twelve months of building, learning, meeting, sharing, and above all: growing.

Our journey in numbers:

• 3 group exhibitions at three beautiful locations: Kasteel Borluut, Kasteel van Schoten, and De Cultuurfabriek Ronse

• 2 months as a permanent gallery where art finally found a lasting and dedicated home

• 44 artists who trusted us with their work and their story

• 2,124 visitors who came to experience, feel, discover, and sometimes buy

• More than 30 artworks that found a new home with people who were moved by what they saw

These numbers are impressive, but above all meaningful.Behind every artwork, every visitor, and every exhibition lies a meeting, a conversation, a connection.And that is exactly what ArtNomadique stands for: bringing art closer to people, and people closer to art.

From Travelling Concept to a Permanent Space

ArtNomadique began as a travelling platform, built on the belief that art doesn’t need barriers — only open doors.But along the way, something grew that was more than movement alone.

Our permanent gallery in Ronse became a home.For artists.For visitors.For anyone seeking a moment of calm, creativity, emotion, or inspiration.

Onto Year Two

Our second year will be bigger, stronger, and even more meaningful.We will continue to invest in a mix of gallery exhibitions, open calls, and — just like this year — new group exhibitions at special locations.Preparations are underway, the first plans are taking shape, and our ambition is clear: to give even more artists visibility and introduce even more visitors to contemporary art.

We have dreams, collaborations, and new projects in motion.But above all, we look forward to continuing this journey — together with you.
