Nathalie Van Houtte: No-Nonsense-Art between Painting, Ceramics and Sculpture
From 11 September to 11 October 2026, ArtNomadique Gallery welcomes Nathalie Van Houtte for a solo exhibition centred on her diverse artistic world.

Her work moves freely between painting, ceramics and sculpture. Colour, line, texture and spontaneous forms come together in her abstract compositions. At times bold and graphic, at other times organic and restrained, her visual language is always guided by her own creative instinct.
Material also plays an important role in her practice. The tactile quality of ceramics and the physical presence of sculpture add another dimension to her work. Nathalie explores, experiments and allows different techniques to enter into dialogue. Control and spontaneity are not opposites in her art, but forces that strengthen one another.
The name No-Nonsense-Art perfectly captures her approach. There are no imposed rules or unnecessarily complicated explanations, only art born from curiosity, freedom and the pleasure of creating. Her work invites visitors to look without preconceptions and discover what its forms, colours and materials evoke in them.
